A World of Conflict
Past Fate offers a dangerous and immersive open world filled with ancient secrets, raiders, and rival factions. On PvP servers, players are flagged for PvP when venturing beyond their faction’s territory, while enemy players entering your land remain flagged. On PvE servers, open-world PvP is limited to conquest zones.
Territory Conquest
Factions can battle for control over key territories, gaining bonuses from upgraded farms, mines, and strongholds. Controlling these areas strengthens your faction and provides strategic advantages against enemy invasions.
Battlegrounds & Arenas
PvP battlegrounds feature objective-based combat modes such as Capture the Flag and Dominion, ranging from 10v10 to 20v20. Larger-scale 50v50 battlegrounds with extended objectives are also in development.
Arenas offer competitive 1v1 and 3v3 ranked battles, rewarding top players with unique PvP rewards.
PvP Progression
Players earn PvP experience by completing objectives in battlegrounds, winning arena matches, and defeating enemy faction members in open-world PvP. Progression unlocks new ranks and exclusive rewards.
Death & the Afterlife
Dying in PvP results in a temporary resurrection timer, increasing if deaths occur in quick succession (15s → 30s → 60s max).
In PvE, upon dying to monsters or environmental hazards, players are transported to the underworld, where they can interact with fallen warriors before choosing to return to their fallen body once more.
The Underworld is a harsh place, and will offer unique challenges to players who wish to take on and explore the realm of the dead. Dying in the Underworld however, will put on a debuff that will limit your time venturing outside the Great Hall in the Underworld.
